History

In 1961, John F. Hughes left Hygrade Containers and founded Hughes Containers Limited to address the small quantity, quick turn-around needs of the large corrugated carton users in Canada. The company’s reputation was built on exemplary service and quality and a mindset that the customer is always the most important member of the team.

In 1987, Hughes Containers Limited began to concentrate on the creative needs of their customers and the growth of the display division Decorr became a strategic focus for the company. With the growth of the display division and the demand of its customers for

turnkey solutions, the company began offering assembly and co-packing and fulfillment services as well as semi-permanent POP displays (including metal, plastics, wire and wood).

Now operating as Hughes Decorr with a core retail foundation and marketing abilities, along with strategic integrated partnerships with Hughes Decorr Ltée. (Quebec), Packmetrics Inc. (Assembly and Co-packing), Planet Paper Box Inc. (Corrugated Containers) and Montcorr (Corrugator), Hughes Decorr has evolved into a leader for your merchandising needs at retail.
